ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Voutsa’s designs incorporate hand painted imagery all of which is copyrighted.
We accept Credit Cards. Tax will be applied accordingly.
All credit card transactions are conducted on a level 1 SSL encrypted server.
ORDER TURNAROUND TIME
Each of Voutsa’s designs is either handmade or printed to order in a New York studio by a small staff of artisans. For any order placed through our website, please allow a four (4) week lead-time until your items(s) are ready for shipment. We try to accommodate rush orders where possible, but please contact the studio directly firstname.lastname@example.org before placing your order if this is the case.
Please allow 4 weeks for your online orders to be ready for shipment.
All orders will ship via UPS Ground or USPS.
Once you place your order, you will receive an e-mail within seventy-two (72) hours confirming that your order has gone into production and that your card has been charged. It may take up to four (4) weeks from receipt of your order confirmation for your items to be ready to ship. You will receive another e-mail once the item has shipped with tracking information.
The minimum shipping charge is $20. Orders that exceed the minimum charge due to weight or size will be calculated at checkout. A signature is required upon delivery. UPS will attempt to deliver to your address three (3) times. Voutsa is not responsible for additional shipping fees if you are not available to receive your package. Should you waive signature upon delivery, neither UPS nor Voutsa can be held responsible for your package once it is left at your door. UPS will not deliver to PO Boxes or military addresses. We also accept online orders for shipment to international addresses. Should you need to ship your items to multiple destinations, you will have to place multiple orders.
Very occasionally UPS experiences shipping delays. We unfortunately cannot refund shipping charges in these circumstances as UPS does not refund these charges to us.
We use recycled and recyclable shipping and packing materials whenever possible.
Please contact the studio directly email@example.com to order a gift certificate for our online store. Online store gift certificates are not redeemable in our physical store.
We do not share any of your information with anyone ever.
DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE
Despite our very best efforts to prevent it, items are occasionally damaged during shipping. Should this happen it is important that you keep all of the original packaging and contact our customer service department within five (5) days of receiving the item. We will replace your item and reship as soon as UPS has inspected and obtained possession of the original package and the replacement products are available for shipment.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us for an exchange or online store credit or combination of both within ten (10) days of receiving the item.. Online store credits can be used at our online store only and will expire after one (1) year.
Unless the return is a result of our error or damage in shipping, we do not credit original or return shipping costs.
To make a return, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for a return authorization form BEFORE you send back the item. Please include a print out of the Return Form with the merchandise you are returning. Items without a return authorization form cannot be accepted.
Voutsa is not responsible for missing packages or any damage that occurs in return shipping. We encourage you to pack and seal the merchandise safely and securely, ideally in its original packaging. We recommend using UPS or FedEx and insuring the item for its full value.
Once we receive the merchandise, the return will be processed within seventy two (72) hours and you will receive a confirmation e-mail with either your online store credit information or an order confirmation for the item you have requested in exchange.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT SHALL VOUTSA OR ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE OF DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF SUCH PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM: (i) THE LOSS OF DATA AND/OR THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE; (ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE; (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (v) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
APPLICABLE LAWS (CHOICE OF VENUE AND FORUM)
Use of this website shall in all respects be governed by the laws of the state of New York, U.S., regardless of the laws that might be applicable under principles of conflicts of law. The parties agree that the New York courts located in New York County, New York, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all controversies arising under this agreement and agree that venue is proper in those courts. In the event of a dispute between the parties in connection with this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover from the non-prevailing party the cost of reasonable attorney’s fees incurred.

OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Voutsa recognizes the importance of maintaining your privacy and keeping your online order secure. This policy describes how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information that you provide to us and should assist you in making informed decisions when using our site.
WHY DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION?
We collect the necessary information to allow us to process and deliver your orders. We also collect information so that we may enhance and personalize our customers’ shopping experience.

WEB SITE USE INFORMATION
Similar to other commercial Web sites, our Web site utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” (see explanation below, “What Are Cookies?”) and Web server logs to collect information about how our Web site is used. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our Web site, and the Web sites visited just before and just after our Web site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.
EMAIL SERVICE PROVIDER
Voutsa uses an email service provider to send our promotional emails, newsletters, etc. to our subscriber list. The email addresses in this subscriber list are not sold, shared, or rented by Voutsa or our provider. If you would like to be removed from our email list, click on the “unsubscribe” link when you receive such an offer or send us an email request to email@example.com. We do NOT sell, share, or rent telephone numbers or email addresses for third party use.
HOW DO WE USE THE INFORMATION THAT YOU PROVIDE TO US?
Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our Web site, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. The lists used to send you product and service offers are developed and managed under our traditional corporate standards designed to safeguard the security and privacy of our customers’ personal information. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

HOW DO WE SECURE INFORMATION TRANSMISSIONS?
When you send confidential personal credit card information to us on our Web site, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our Web site.
Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We utilize encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.
